November 30, Turkey has made "Golden" weld connecting the pipeline with the "Bulgarian stream" and from the beginning of 2020 will ensure the transit of Russian gas to Europe.
"According to EU rules we have done all that is required and at present Bulgaria does not postpone the construction of the Turkish stream", - said Chairman of the Energy Committee of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Valentin Nikolov.

After that, the supply pipeline will be carried out in a volume of 8.75 million cubic meters of gas per day. To this gas through the territory of Bulgaria will be held under the existing gas transportation network.
the Project "Turkish stream" involves construction of a pipeline, consisting of two lines with a capacity of 15.75 billion cubic meters each. The first line is designed to supply Russian gas to Turkish consumers, the other for the gas supply countries in southern and South-Eastern Europe. As potential markets, "Gazprom" considers Greece, Italy, Bulgaria, Serbia and Hungary.
