Russian steelmakers have reduced production of steel and rolled steel in November

According to the Federal state statistics service of the Russian Federation, in January-November 2019 the index of industrial production was, compared with 11 months 2018 102,4%. In November 2019 the index was up compared to November 2018 100,3% compared to October 2019, is 97.5%.

In the first 11 months of the year, Russian metallurgical enterprises produced 53.6 million tonnes of non-alloy steels (in ingots or other primary forms) and semi-finished products from it. The decrease in the annual ratio of 1.4%. In November, the indicators deteriorated from the previous month by 3.2% compared to November 2018 to 6.4%.

Production of finished steel during January-November 2019 amounted to 56.1 million tons, which is 0,3% less than the annual ratio. In November, the volume decreased by 2.1% compared to October and by 0.1% year-on-year.

the Production of steel pipes, hollow profiles and fittings has increased over 11 months by 3.7% to 11.4 million tons. In November performance improved yoy by 6.9%, but to the previous month decreased by 4.2%.
