Thailand has abolished import duty of hot rolled steel for all countries
Ministry of Commerce of Thailand decided not to renew a special safeguard measure against imports of certain types of non-alloy hot rolled flat products in coils and sheets, regardless of the country of origin.
the Measure was first introduced in 2014 and, starting from 2017, extended for three years with the collection of fees in the following amounts:

- June 7, 2017 June 6, 2018 – of 21.00%; the
- 7 June 2018 6 June 2019 – 20,87%; the
- 7 June 2019 6 June 2020 – of 20.74%.
the Initiator of anti-dumping investigation was made by the Thai steel company Sahaviriya Steel Industries, G Steel Company, GJ Steel and Sahaviriya Plate Mill.
