Eurasian Commission has extended import duties on Ukrainian stainless pipes

The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission adopted decision to extend until October 18, 2021 anti-dumping duties on seamless pipes made of corrosion-resistant (stainless) steel originating from Ukraine and imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union in the amount of 4.32 up to 18.96% depending on the manufacturer.

For the first time, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided to introduce an anti-dumping duty on Ukrainian seamless stainless steel with a diameter of up to 426 mm for a period of 5 years in the amount of 18.96% of the customs value in January 2016.

In October 2020, the Commission began a second investigation, initiated by the enterprises of the ChTPZ group (Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk Novotrubny Plant) and TMK Group (TMK-Inkos and Volzhsky Pipe Plant).
