The laying of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline began in Danish waters

The pipe-laying vessel Akademik Chersky on Tuesday, April 27, began laying the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline in the territorial waters of Denmark. This was reported by the operator of the Nord Stream 2 AG project.

“After successfully passing sea trials, the vessel“ Akademik Chersky ”today started pipe-laying work in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark. Barge Fortuna continues pipelaying. All work is carried out in accordance with the obtained permits, "- said in the commentary of the operator of the construction site.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said that Nord Stream-2 would be completed in 2021.
