The second largest steel company in the world, ArcelorMittal, predicts a steady growth in steel consumption in 2021 around the world by at least 4.5 - 5.5%.
According to the company's May forecast, during 2021, apparent steel consumption in China will grow by 1-3%, outside China - by 8.5-9.5%.
In the US, demand for steel is expected to grow by 10-12%, in Europe - by 7.5-9.5%, in Brazil - by 6-8%, in India - by 16-18%.
In the CIS countries, according to ArcelorMittal, visible steel consumption will grow by 4-6% in 2021.
