Russia has allocated over a billion rubles for the development of the production of freight transport
The Government of the Russian Federation has allocated over one billion rubles for the modernization of production and updating the range of Russian trucks. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The decision was made following a working trip of the head of government to Naberezhnye Chelny, which took place on June 3. After returning to Moscow, Mishustin instructed the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance to provide additional funding for the implementation of plans for the development of KamAZ, as well as to plan additional funds when preparing the next draft budget.
"The allocated funding, in particular, will help the plant recover costs within the framework of investment projects and put into operation a new line of profiling of spars - the main power elements of vehicles," the press service of the Russian government noted.
PJSC KAMAZ is the largest truck manufacturer in Russia, the main segment of which is vehicles weighing 14-40 tons. The company's business plan, increased in the middle of the year, envisages the sale of a total of 39.5 thousand trucks in 2021, including 5 thousand abroad.
