Corum Group brings digital planning to industrial production

Corum Svet Shakhtyora completed the first stage of implementation of the Opcenter APS (formerly Siemens Preactor) system - interdepartmental planning. Such a system will make it possible to optimally plan the loading of the company's production by workshops, namely, to receive information on the timing of the production of parts for all open orders, to analyze deviations from the contract date and the ability to make optimal management decisions. Plans for the second stage - a system for in-house planning, where tasks are calculated for each work center.

Opcenter APS is an intelligent planning system. It automatically schedules the production of products. At the same time, it comprehensively takes into account equipment, personnel, materials and components, contract terms and priority of orders. Fast data analysis minimizes errors and speeds up processes. The automated production planning system will allow the most productive use of the plant's production resources.

With the help of digital planning, the company plans to speed up the construction of a production schedule by 2-5 times, reduce work in progress and reduce the proportion of overdue orders. The new system will promptly generate statistics on the utilization of production resources and employees, taking into account planning - for more efficient, objective and high-quality management decisions.

Thanks to Opcenter, APS Corum Group gets a "holistic picture" of production utilization for open orders and control of order fulfillment by production managers. It also reduces the time for preparation and formation of various analytical reports, and the development of the Industry4.0 element at the company's enterprises.

The project team has already organized the integration of data from the 1C accounting system into the Opcenter APS system. This is a large amount of data, which includes: product composition, manufacturing technology, work-in-progress status. The plant's specialists saw complete information about orders in a "one window", which in the future will allow them to work efficiently and for a result.

- Digital planning will significantly increase the production efficiency of Corum Group and allow the company to maintain its leadership position in the mechanical engineering market, - said Dmitry Fedorov, Head of Information Technology Department of Corum Group. Opcenter APS helps to plan, analyze and efficiently work with data, receiving timely complete information about all stages of production.
