Director General of Ukrhydroenergo initiated the construction of new bomb shelters at the Dnieper HPP

General Director of Ukrhydroenergo Ihor Syrota with top managers of the company visited the Dnieper hydroelectric power plant during a scheduled tour of the stations of the Dnieper cascade, having held meetings with the heads of the station, representatives of the design institute and contractors.

The progress of the implementation of the investment program for 2022 was discussed and a number of important decisions were made on the reconstruction of the main equipment, the implementation of current and major repairs.

While inspecting the station, while communicating with the staff, this time Igor Sirota paid special attention to the safety of the station personnel in wartime conditions, noting the need for a major overhaul of existing shelters and the construction of new bomb shelters.

“Our shelters should not only be equipped with communications, have first aid kits, water and food supplies. Now we are setting up standalone workspaces in our shelters. We must understand that this is a reality, and we must not only accept it, but continue to work fully under any conditions. At the same time, I once again urge you not to neglect the air raid signals, life depends on your discipline,” the head of Ukrhydroenergo stressed.
