Demand for electric vehicles continues to grow in Ukraine
In September, 1,583 battery-powered vehicles (BEVs) were added to the Ukrainian fleet, which is 77% more than last year. Compared to August 2022 demand for BEV increased by 6%, according to Ukravtoprom.
The bulk of electric vehicles registered in September were passenger cars - 1492 units. (new - 278 pcs., used - 1214 pcs.).
It is noteworthy that once again the top five BEV models on the Ukrainian market do not change:
The most popular electric car in the country is the NISSAN Leaf. Within a month, 258 cars of this model received Ukrainian registration.
The second result was for VOLKSWAGEN ID.4 - 195 pcs.
The third place is VOLKSWAGEN e-Golf - 105 pcs.
The fourth most popular RENAULT Zoe - 98 units
The TESLA Model 3 closes the TOP-5 of the September electric car market with 90 registrations.
There were 91 registered electric commercial vehicles last month. In this segment, the RENAULT Kangoo ZE (39 units) again takes the lead.
In just nine months since the beginning of the year, 8.9 thousand units have passed their first registration in Ukraine. vehicles on battery power sources, which is almost one and a half times more than in the same period in 2021.
