Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy Plant celebrated its 86th anniversary
In 1925, a group of metallurgists who worked on the problem of Dneprostroy put forward a project to build a ferroalloy plant in the city of Zaporozhye on the basis of the planned construction of Dneproges. The construction of the plant began in 1931 and exactly one year after the launch of the Dnieper hydroelectric power station on October 10, 1933, two electric furnaces produced ferrochrome.
Today the Zaporozhye Ferroalloy Plant is one of the largest producers of ferroalloys in Europe and the world, not only in terms of production volumes, but also in terms of the range of alloys of its products. The share of production of the enterprise in Ukraine is 30-35%, in the world volume of ferroalloys -1-2%.
The staff of the plant received congratulations from the administration of the enterprise and the trade union committee at the ZFZ sanatorium. And as soon as the event was "opened", the ferroalloys and their families were able to take part in master classes and competitions for every taste.
The show "Chemical Experiments" was in great "demand" among adults and children - with fire, foam, and real chemical miracles. But it wasn't just the show that delighted the kids. With great enthusiasm, they painted gingerbread, painted the houses of their dreams and made works of pottery. By the way, adults also liked this: who brought home a small pot of their own production, which was a saucer for painting. A lot of interested persons also gathered a master class on hand-to-hand combat, rifle shooting and ball darts.
For their dedication to creative work, children received gifts - sets of pencils. And the gingerbread cookies and the colored slime they made have already become a real reward.
In the midst of the holiday, the guests of the event were able to recuperate with delicious porridge and hot tea, which the organizers took care of in advance.
The celebration ended with a concert of Zaporozhye Philharmonic artists: they played their favorite melodies and sang popular songs for ferroalloys.
The traditional concert of the Zaporozhye Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Vyacheslav Redi became the final festive chord on one day of the 86th anniversary. Therefore, from the concert hall. MI Glinka, the workers of the plant went home, filled with vivid emotions and in excellent mood.
