"Metinvest" has estimated the number of destroyed 10 years of facilities – emission sources
With the advent of "Metinvest" metallurgical plant "Azovstal" and MMK im.Illicha (MMKI) in the period 2006-2019 years in Mariupol began on 28 sources of emissions less. This was told in the company of Rinat Akhmetov on official page on Facebook.
Metinvest reminded how many production facilities that pollute the air of the city of Mariupol, was eliminated in the last 10 years.
- iron & steel works: minus 4 coke oven battery, sinter plant minus two sintering machines, minus 2 12 open-hearth and blast furnaces.
- Ilyich steel: minus Martin with 6 furnaces, minus one blast furnace and one of the Smoking pipe of five pipes of sinter plant.
the company has promised that before the end of next year, no one tube of the sinter plant in Mariupol, the smoke is not at all. Metinvest also said that in BOF shops Azovstal and Ilyich steel obsolete gas treatment equipment was replaced by modern and more efficient gas cleaning.
