Metinvest's bonds are included in the global debt indices of emerging markets
Eurobonds of the international vertically integrated group of mining and metallurgical companies Metinvest announced on Monday that it has included its 2029 Eurobonds in the JPMorgan Corporate Emerging Markets Bond Index (CEMBI) family of corporate bond indices.
CEMBI Indices provide a global benchmark for tracking US dollar-denominated debt issued by emerging market corporations.
Bonds 2029 were issued on 17 October 2019 as part of the Group's successful debut placement of bonds in two currencies and the completion of a deal to extend the maturity of Eurobonds in circulation. The 2029 bonds have been added to the following high yield CEMBI indices following regular recalculation on November 29, 2019: CEMBI Broad and CEMBI Broad Diversified.
Metinvest is the largest mining and metallurgical holding in Ukraine. The group's enterprises are located mainly in Donetsk, Lugansk, Zaporizhzhya and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
The main shareholders of Metinvest are the SCM group (71.24%) of Rinat Akhmetov and Smart-holding (23.76%) of Vadim Novinsky, jointly managing it. Metinvest Holding LLC is the management company of Metinvest Group.
