The European Commission will develop underdeveloped market of crowdfunding in the EU
the European Commission welcomed the provisional political agreement reached yesterday evening between the European Parliament and the Council, in its proposal for the revitalization of the market of crowdfunding in the EU.
the Proposal according to the EC, aims to use the opportunities provided by emerging innovative technologies in the financial sector. The agreement, 12 of the 13 legislative proposals of Union capital markets was taken or coordinated at EU level.
the Agreement is subject to final approval by the European Parliament and of the Council.
After the adoption of the new regulatory framework will harmonize the rules for crowdfunding platforms based on investment and lending, operating in the European Union.
we will Remind that in March of 2018 the European Commission presented a proposal on the regulation of providers of crowdfunding. After adoption by the new EU rules would allow platforms to apply for a passport the EU on the basis of a single set of rules. This will help them to offer their services across the EU.
