The Ministry of economic development of Ukraine predicts reduction of unemployment to 6% by 2022
the Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture Tymofiy mylovanov said that during today's meeting the government approved developed by the Department of state policy in the sphere of employment.
"We expect that through the implementation of the Main directions of implementation of state policy in the field of employment, we will reduce the unemployment rate to 6%, reduce the volume of informal employment and increase the number of citizens engaged in economic activities are age 15 - 70 years in 2022 to 60.7 per cent," said Tymofiy mylovanov.
the Purpose of the document, according to the Deputy Minister Yulia Sviridenko is the empowerment of citizens to decent work, the creation of new jobs, balancing the supply and demand in the labour market and increase employment.
She said that the Ministry has identified several priorities for implementation of the state policy in the sphere of employment, in particular:
- the development of the national economy as the basis for the generation of productive employment and the creation of new jobs;
- encourage the development of entrepreneurship and self-employment;
- ensuring the creation of decent work and unshadowing of relations in the sphere of employment;
- development of the system of professional (vocational) education and ensuring the creation of conditions for professional learning throughout life;
- development of inclusive labour market;
- the promotion of youth employment;
- reform of the public employment service and provision of innovative service development in the labour market;
- ensuring the implementation of effective state policy in the sphere of labour migration.
