The economy for the first time joined the work of the Commission Ukraine-NATO

January 15, Deputy Minister of economic development, trade and agriculture of Ukraine Svetlana Panayotidi, being a member of the official delegation took part in the meeting of the Commission Ukraine-NATO (headquarters of NATO., Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium), which is currently the highest political level of Ukraine's cooperation with NATO.

In the event of Panayotidi appealed to high-ranking officials of the Alliance with a request to send to Ukraine of NATO experts for consultations on the use of a procurement system used by the Agency, the NATO support and procurement (and Procurement NATO Support Agency - NSPA).

"We plan to hold in February-March 2020 seminar with representatives of the Ukrainian defense industry on the order of the free registration of the Ukrainian enterprises in the electronic catalog NSPA for manufacturers of defence products", she explained.

Panayotidi explained that today, a complex transformation and a major reform of the national defense industry open new opportunities for manufacturers. It also proposed to organize an exhibition of the capabilities and achievements of individual enterprises of the defense industry of Ukraine in the headquarters of NATO in 2020.

"This measure, on the one hand, will contribute to raising awareness among the NATO community about the potential of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine, on the other hand will increase the chances of attracting Russian businesses to contracts for the needs of the Alliance", - said Svetlana Panayotidi.
