Ukraine has established a Commission to work with the EU in the framework of the European "green agreement"
Government Alexey Goncharuk has created an interagency working group that will deal with the issues of overcoming the consequences of the climate change initiative of the European Commission "European green deal."
the Main objective of the Commission is to protect the health and welfare of citizens from the risks and effects of climate change. As well as the coherence of all branches of government in achieving the goals of sustainable development of Ukraine.
"with the EU we will develop the agenda for reducing emissions in the framework of the Paris agreement. Ukraine wants to join the agreement at the stage of task like a full-time player," said Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk.
He added that next Tuesday, during the sixth meeting of the Council of the Association "Ukraine - EU" will be discussed, in particular, issues of cooperation at the European green deal.
the working group is a temporary Advisory body of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. A Commission headed by Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
