DMK started making steel rebar diameter: 8 mm
In the rolling shop of OJSC "Dnipro metallurgical plant" in January on the mill 400/200 production of new products - rebar diameter 8 mm. today released the experimental-industrial batch weighing 1,000 tons.
"Development of this product was scheduled for February 2020. We did it ahead of schedule, and in late January had a successful rolling of slitting process the rebar with diameter of 8 mm It is very thin, flexible and requires a more precise and fine tuning of equipment in order to be able to produce it without loss", - says Oleksandr Oliynyk, an important role - head of rolling shop DMK.
the company plans to start production of all types of valves, which will allow you to roll the mill to be able to shape the specifications of consumers and construction companies.
In March, the DMK will begin to produce commercial batches of rebar 8 mm.
performance-Enhancing slitting-the process has been mastered over the past year. In commercial products - rebar diameter from 10 to 20 mm appeared on the market in 2019.
On trubosvarochnogo the camp in January conducted by experienced rolling circle diameter of 40 mm, which is the plan to release in the future, removing this product from the state of 400/200, relieving the Fund of working time for rolling of rebar. Rolling circle-40 was satisfactory in the production of the second batch of 600 tons.
On the Dnieper metallurgical plant in 2019 rolling plant mastered the production of:
- axis of the workpiece with a diameter of 218 mm from slabs of rectangular cross section size mm 1250х300 production of Azovstal;
- reinforcing bar sizes of sections 5;
- round rolled diameter of 25 mm;
- channel №6,5;
- area 11 sizes of sections;
- wire rod with diameters of 5.5 and 6.5 mm high-carbon steel grades С72D2, intended for the production of wire for ropes;
- steel balls 5 of the second group having a diameter of 40 mm.
Products went to customers from Ukraine and 17 countries.
