In January wages in the Ukrainian MMC fell by 8-16%, except for ferrous metallurgy and production of metals
enterprises of mining-metallurgical complex (MMC) of Ukraine in January 2020 reduced the average level of wages in comparison with the previous month, except for mining companies, workers, and iron and steel, reported information of the Central trade Union of workers of metallurgical and mining industry of Ukraine (PMGU).
According to the Department of social and economic work of the Central Committee of PMGW, the average salary in January in the mines was 17 705,4 UAH, which is 1.4% above the level of the previous month (17 453,2 UAH).
coke plants the average wage level in January amounted to 527,8 18 hryvnia (102% of the previous month), on the enterprises of ferrous metallurgy – 17 422,4 hryvnia (100,2%), ferrous metallurgy – 10 777,9 hryvnia (up 86.8%), the trumpet enterprises – 12 567,9 hryvnia (91,1%).
In General, industry in January, the average wage level was 12 176,9 hryvnia (89,2%), while in Ukraine – UAH 10 of 272 (83.8 per cent).
