The European automobile manufacturers Association has adopted guidelines for the renewal of the automotive industry of the EU
European Association of car manufacturers (ACEA) has developed four guiding principles for the successful resumption of the activities of the automotive industry that will be vital for the wider economic recovery of the continent.
"In the interests of Europe to this key strategic sector not only recovered, but has been updated to make a significant contribution to the industrial strategy of the EU, the European green agreement, and global leadership on the continent of innovation," said Eric-mark Huitema, CEO of ACEA, which represents the 16 largest European manufacturers of cars, trucks, vans and buses.

- the Definition of a coordinated strategy for safe resumption of car production as soon as possible.
- Stimulate market demand for all categories of vehicles.
- Unlock type approval and registration of advanced technology vehicles.
- Accelerating investment in recharge and a network of filling stations.
According to ACEA, the pan-European network of filling and gas infrastructure will be key to ensure that the car Park could be updated without compromising the environment.
