Ukrzaliznytsia plans to start serial production of brake pads of the type "emergency" on the capacity of the Dnepropetrovsk locomotive plant (DTRS). This was announced by acting Chairman of the Board of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsya" Ivan Yurik during a visit to the company.
"Now Dnipropetrovsk Teplovozoremontny plant has all the facilities that will fully meet the annual demand of the carrier in these products. Already developed the project of production of brake pads. We plan that by the end of summer they will be certified and we start serial production", - said the head of Railways.
Ivan Yurik added that today DRS produced the first trial batch of pads.
"every month the plant will produce at least 2 000 pad, high 4 000. Let me remind you that monthly demand of Railways in the stocks of this type is up to 5 000 pieces. Thus, we will receive additional loading of the plant and, most important, we will no longer have problems with purchasing important products," - said the head of the company.
