The South Korean company Caris will begin manufacturing electric buses at the Pivdenmash
State space Agency of Ukraine, YUZHMASH and the South Korean company Caris has signed a Memorandum of cooperation for the production of 5,000 electric buses and 7800 charging stations. The agreement provides for the signing of contracts in the amount of 23 billion hryvnias, with the time of production until 2023.
a Multidisciplinary team Caris has been conducting projects for development of road infrastructure in Ukraine. "We are very pleased to continue cooperation with Ukraine. The Memorandum formalizes the intention to expand their collaboration with Ukrainian state enterprises in the sector of large machinery," says Yu-Cheol, CEO of Caris.
the Parties approved the program of joint actions for the localization of production of electric buses and charging stations, the exchange of license agreements and technology, had planned a joint participation in exhibitions, negotiated the possibilities and potential of export of electric buses in Europe.
"YUZHMASH has long been underused and was in a dire economic condition, but has managed to retain the efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering enterprise. Cooperation with Caris will allow not only to revitalize the enterprise, but also to maintain the scientific and technical potential, to revive civil engineering major, which for many years remained one of the key activities of the plant", – said General Director of Yuzhmash Sergei Voight.

the South Korean company Caris has companies located in many countries, construction, logistics companies, production of innovative materials and components for road construction and traffic safety, as well as R&D center, which owns a patented innovation technologies in the production of composite and superhard materials used in heat power engineering, industrial electronics and mechanical engineering.
