Metinvest equips new oxygen points in Mariupol for seriously ill coronavirus
The need for vital oxygen for seriously ill COVID-19 has grown and assistance from Metinvest metallurgists has grown.
In the first city hospital of Mariupol, specialists are equipping about fifty new oxygen posts in the departments of nephrology and hematology, which will receive patients with coronavirus. At the moment, the installation of equipment for oxygen supply is being completed.
Metallurgists plan to complete all work on the arrangement of additional oxygen points in the city hospital №1 by the end of October.
In total, this time, thanks to the help of metallurgists, 242 points will be additionally equipped in medical institutions of the city with direct oxygen supply.
Recall that earlier this spring, the company has already allocated 7 million hryvnia for the construction of oxygen posts in the fourth, ninth hospitals and an emergency hospital.
In Mariupol over the past day, 205 new cases of COVID-19 were registered among city residents. This is 104 more cases than was recorded on October 25. Since the beginning of monitoring in Mariupol, 3154 people have become ill with coronavirus, 1499 (47.5%) have recovered. 50 deaths have been reported.
