Ukrzaliznytsia and NABU signed a memorandum of cooperation

Ukrzaliznytsia strengthens the fight against corruption and abuse. Today, October 30, the chairman of the board of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" Volodymyr Zhmak and director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Artem Sytnyk signed a memorandum of cooperation and information exchange between the parties.

According to the head of Ukrzaliznytsia, Volodymyr Zhmak, the document was signed to prevent and counteract corruption criminal acts and other crimes under investigation by the National Bureau on railway transport.

“I would like to emphasize that the fight against corruption in KM is one of my biggest priorities. Zero tolerance to corruption is a pledge on the way to a profitable and successful company, "- said Vladimir Zhmak.

In the course of cooperation with NABU, among other things, it is envisaged to provide information for the prompt and impartial consideration of information on criminal corruption offenses and other criminal acts that Ukrzaliznytsia will reveal.

Also now in Ukrzaliznytsya a large-scale audit of the company's activities in recent years, initiated by a new top management team, is being carried out. Railway workers have already exposed several corruption schemes and reported them to law enforcement agencies.
