For 10 months of 2020, receipts from the export of ferrous metals to Ukraine decreased by 16%
Metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in January-October of this year reduced revenues from the export of ferrous metals by 16% compared to the same period last year - to 6.4 billion dollars.
According to statistics released by the State Customs Service (GTS) on Friday, ferrous metals accounted for 16.16% of total receipts from the export of goods during this period against 18.3% in ten months of last year. In October, earnings from the export of ferrous metals amounted to $ 663.482 million.
At the same time, Ukraine in January-October this year reduced imports of similar products by 20.3% - to $ 864.520 million. In October, this figure was $ 105.686 million.
In addition, Ukraine in January-October reduced the export of metal products by 13.7% - to $ 752.119 million. In October, they were delivered for $ 74.960 million. During this period, imports of metal products decreased by 22.9% to $ 718.107 million. In October, they were imported for $ 86.573 million.
As reported, metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in 2019 reduced revenues from the export of ferrous metals by 12.1% compared to 2018 - to $ 8.7 billion. At the same time, ferrous metals accounted for 17.45% of the total revenue from the export of goods against 20.99% in 2018.
