Ukrainian aircraft industry was exempted from VAT and import duties
On December 9, at a meeting of the government of Ukraine, a resolution was adopted that exempts aircraft manufacturing enterprises from paying import duties and value added tax.
“We continue to take systemic steps to support strategic sectors of the economy, hear the requests of entrepreneurs and respond to them. In particular, today's decision on a preferential tax regime is our response to an appeal from representatives of the aircraft industry, ”said Igor Petrashko, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
So, among the enterprises that applied to the Ministry of Economy: LLC "Scientific and Production Association" AVIA ", LLC" GIDROBEST ", LLC" Aircraft Repair Enterprise "URARP", JSC "Dnepropetrovsk Aggregate Plant", JSC "Motor Sich", State Enterprise "Ivchenko-Progress".
The resolution expands the list of goods for import in a preferential mode by 75 items. In particular, we are talking about raw materials, materials, components, machines that are not produced in Ukraine.
“Tax incentives will allow enterprises to use the freed-up funds to introduce the latest technologies, increase production volumes, and strengthen their competitiveness. In turn, this will also affect the preservation and increase of jobs, fulfillment of state and international orders, "the minister emphasized.
