DMZ Yaroslavsky in February almost doubled the production of rolled products
Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant (DMZ, Dnepr), a member of DCH Steel of Alexander Yaroslavsky's DCH Group, in February 2021 increased the output of finished steel by 71% compared to the previous month, to 18.7 thousand tons.
In February, the plant produced 22.6 thousand tons of pig iron (-12.1%), 24.1 thousand tons of steel (an increase of 4.3 times). Coke production decreased by 10% to 37.4 thousand tons.
As a reminder, in January, DMZ's steelmaking and rolling stocks were suspended for three weeks for repairs, but the plant was actively producing coke and pig iron for sale on the domestic market.
In February, DMZ produced more than 20 types of rolled products (corners, channels, rims, shaft rack, profiles according to European standards) for Ukrainian and foreign buyers.
