VostGOK presented a program for the development of the nuclear industry to the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine

The issue of preparing a "Long-term program for the development of nuclear energy in Ukraine" and "Concept of the state target economic program for the development of the nuclear-industrial complex until 2026" were discussed at the first meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine this year.

By the decision of the National Security and Defense Council "On measures to neutralize threats in the field of nuclear energy and industry", the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was instructed to approve the "Concept of the state target economic program for the development of the nuclear-industrial complex until 2026" by April 1, 2021, with subsequent adoption within six months of the State target economic program for the development of the atomic-industrial complex until 2026 to provide financing for the development of the uranium mining and uranium-processing state enterprise "Eastern Mining and Processing Plant" (VostGOK) in order to increase the production of uranium oxide concentrate to fully meet the needs of the domestic nuclear energy. >

The draft concept was developed by the specialists of SE "VostGOK". The involvement of experts from the public in the discussion of problematic issues of the industry at the initial stage of the development of strategic documents allows a more complete analysis and consideration of public opinion.

After approval, the concept will be officially announced on the site of SE "VostGOK".
