General Director of Energomashspetsstal spoke about the "very successful" 2020
The General Director of PJSC Energomashspetsstal Vitaly Gnezditsky at the collective agreement conference of the labor collective held on March 24, said that the past year was very successful for the enterprise. In 2020, the volume of sales of finished products manufactured at the enterprise amounted to 3.324 billion hryvnia, which is 71% more than in 2019. The output of marketable products in 2020 increased by 37.6%. The average monthly wage of Energomashspetsstal workers increased by 16% compared to 2019 and amounted to UAH 18,381.
“In 2020, the plant signed a number of major international contracts, we successfully passed the qualifications of General Electric and started serial production of rotor parts for the Akkuyu NPP under construction in Turkey. An important area for Energomashspetsstal in 2021 will be the production of large-sized castings for the ship's power system. Based on the existing portfolio of orders, in 2021 the company expects to sell products for at least 3,043 billion hryvnia and increase employee salaries by 10-12%. The quality of products and terms of order fulfillment today are one of the most important means of achieving and maintaining an enterprise's competitiveness. Therefore, today the main task for the team is to tune in to the fulfillment of the plan, to hard work on the unconditional fulfillment of orders, "Vitaly Gnezditsky emphasized.
Recall that by the end of 2020, Energomashspetsstal reduced steel production by 6.8% compared to 2019 - to 63 thousand tons. In January-February of this year, the company further reduced steel production by 25% compared to the same period a year earlier - to 9 thousand tons.
Energomashspetsstal, owned by the Russian Atomenergomash (Rosatom State Corporation), is the largest Ukrainian manufacturer of special cast and forged products of individual and small-scale production for metallurgy, shipbuilding, energy (wind, steam, hydro, nuclear) and general engineering.
