Ukrzaliznytsia will check its suppliers in connection with the disruption of diesel fuel supplies
The Security Office of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC will check the company's procurement vertical. It is connected with the disruption of the critical procurement plan for the industry and the inaction of a number of vertical leaders.
In particular, the inaction consisted in the untimely delivery of centralized plans for material and technical support to the branch "Production Support Center" of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", repeated adjustments and changes to them during the first quarter of 2021 and untimely adjustments in fuel prices, etc. .
So, according to the established facts, an official check will be carried out in relation to the actions of officials of the category management department, the planning department and the expected cost in the field of procurement, as well as the procurement director of Ukrzaliznytsia JSC.
“It is these departments that must ensure the timely procurement of material and technical means necessary for the stable and uninterrupted functioning of the railway industry. In addition, for the duration of the official audit, he will be temporarily suspended from the duties of the Director of the Department of Planning and Expected Cost in the field of procurement. These cases will not be tolerated in the future and will receive organizational and personnel conclusions, ”the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia said.
Recall that on April 19 Ukrzaliznytsia stated that due to the refusal of suppliers to ship fuel under the concluded contracts, the company has only a four-day supply of diesel fuel. According to market experts, the seizure of Viktor Medvedchuk's property in accordance with the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and, in particular, the oil product pipeline had an indirect impact on the situation with the supply of diesel fuel for Ukrzaliznytsia.
Previously it was reported that Ukrzaliznytsya prepared for the upcoming changes in the logistics of transporting diesel fuel in Ukraine after stopping supplies of these products from Russian factories and temporarily closing the Mozyr oil refinery in Belarus for repairs.
