Dnieper Metallurgical Plant DCH Steel in April reduced steel production by 2.8%
Dneprovsky Metallurgical Plant (DMZ, Dnipro), a member of DCH Steel of Alexander Yaroslavsky's DCH Group, in April 2021 increased the production of finished rolled steel by 12.2% compared to March, to 24.9 thousand tons.
Pig iron production increased by 0.8%, to 25.98 thousand tons, steel - decreased by 2.8%, to 28.5 thousand tons.
In April, the plant produced 40.2 thousand tons of coke, which is 3.2% less than March 2021 and 13.5% more than April 2020.
In April, the enterprise launched the second oxygen unit to provide oxygen to the blast furnace shop and the oxygen converter shop, and performed scheduled repairs in the main shops. In the rolling shop No. 1 (mill 800), the repairs of the recuperative group of heating wells have been practically completed. At the coke-chemical plant, surfacing and sealing of heating walls of coke oven battery No. 2 is performed, which will increase the efficiency of coke ovens and reduce the impact on the environment.

Dnipro Metallurgical Plant is a full-cycle metallurgical enterprise. In 2020, the plant produced 160 thousand tons of pig iron, 175 thousand tons of steel and 140 thousand tons of rolled products.
