U.S. Provides Ukraine with $ 150 Million in Security Assistance
The Pentagon on Friday announced $ 150 million in security and defense assistance to Ukraine.
According to the statement of the department, the United States will provide Ukraine with anti-artillery radars, anti-drone systems, means of secure communications, equipment for electronic warfare and military medical evacuation, as well as training and equipment to improve the operational security and potential of the Ukrainian Air Force bases. >
In March of this year, the United States allocated $ 125 million to Ukraine as a security assistance package.
The provision of this aid package "confirms that Ukraine has made sufficient progress this year in implementing defense reforms," the US Department of Defense said in a statement.
US President Joseph Biden on Monday reaffirmed his support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity in a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
