Dnipro Metallurgical Plant doubled the production of steel and rolled metal products

Dnieper Metallurgical Plant (DMZ, Dnipro), a member of DCH Steel of the DCH group of Alexander Yaroslavsky, in June 2021 increased the production of pig iron in comparison with the same period last year by 38%, to 24.7 thousand tons, steel - by 102.2%, up to 27.1 thousand tons, rolled products - by 100.9%, up to 21.5 thousand tons. Coke production remained at the level of 40 thousand tons.

In the first half of 2021, DMZ produced 151.4 thousand tons of pig iron, 144 thousand tons of steel, 117.5 thousand tons of rolled products and 242.2 thousand tons of coke.

As a reminder, the metallurgical workshops of the DMZ resumed work after a downtime in May-June 2020. Prior to that, the plant had been producing only coke-chemical processing products for seven months.

Dnipro Metallurgical Plant is a full-cycle metallurgical enterprise. In 2020, the plant produced 160 thousand tons of pig iron, 175 thousand tons of steel and 140 thousand tons of rolled products. The plant produces about 20 types of finished rolled products monthly for delivery to Ukrainian and foreign consumers. The plant's products are exported to more than 40 countries around the world.
