Dneprovsky metallurgical plant of Alexander Yaroslavsky sharply reduced the production of metal products
Dnieper Metallurgical Plant (DMZ, Dnipro), a member of DCH Steel of the DCH group of Alexander Yaroslavsky, in August 2021 reduced the production of pig iron in comparison with the same period last year by 7.7%, to 22.1 thousand tons, steel - by 11.2%, to 24.4 thousand tons, finished rolled products - by 16.5%, to 18.5 thousand tons. Coke production increased by 2.3% to 41.5 thousand tons.
For 8 months of 2021, DMZ produced 199.4 thousand tons of pig iron, 196 thousand tons of steel, 156.7 thousand tons of rolled products, 325.4 thousand tons of coke.
As a reminder, the metallurgical workshops of the DMZ resumed work after a downtime in May-June 2020. Prior to that, for seven months, the plant produced only coke-chemical processing products.
