Head of Metinvest Holding has been appointed Director of Environment at Interpipe

Vladislav Varnavsky has been appointed Director for the Environment of the industrial company Interpipe. He started working in his new position on October 6, 2021.

According to the press service of Interpipe, Vladislav Varnavsky has been working in the field of environmental protection of large industrial companies for more than 15 years.

Since 2012, Vladislav headed the environmental protection department of Metinvest Holding, where he was responsible for the work of environmental services of enterprises, internal environmental audit and monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions, compliance with legal requirements and interaction with state environmental protection bodies at the national and regional level. His competence also included the assessment of investment projects from an environmental point of view and the introduction of modern environmental technologies at enterprises.

In addition, Mr. Varnavskiy worked in the cement and oil and gas industry - in the state-owned enterprises "Naukaneftegaz", "HeidelbergCement Ukraine", "Ukrnafta". As an environmental expert, he took part in joint projects of UNIDO, OSCE and other international organizations.

An environmentalist by education, Vladislav also completed training in the corporate MBA program in 2012.
