CYBERSTEEL has completed registration with China’s National Nuclear Safety Administration (NNSA). This step will enable the Company to start supplying hi-tech stainless pipes for nuclear power plants under construction in China.
The Department of Radiation Source Safety Regulation under the NNSA (State Council) has confirmed that CYBERSTEEL’s products comply with a number of mandatory criteria, including required personnel competencies, reliability of manufactured goods, and a track record of similar supplies to international nuclear facilities. With the audit successfully completed, CYBERSTEEL has gained the right to supply seamless stainless straight pipes and heat exchanger tubes for Safety Class II and III steam generators to nuclear power stations in China.
Alexey Dronov, Director of CYBERSTEEL: “By the end of the previous year our Company secured registration with Turkey’s Nuclear Regulatory Authority, while approval by China’s NNSA was yet another major event in our corporate history. International recognition attests to the highest level of our expertise in nuclear power, confirms the reliability and quality of our products and offers new opportunities for CYBERSTEEL’s expansion in foreign markets.”
Pursuant to China’s Provisions on Supervision and Administration of Imported Civilian Nuclear Safety Equipment, every manufacturer and engineering organisation supplying Safety Class II and III equipment or elements of such equipment must be registered with the NNSA. The validity period of such registration is five years.
