Last weekend, a mini-football tournament "Steel Ball" among schoolchildren of the Abinsk district unfolded at the Spartak stadium in Abinsk. The guys fought for the main prize — sports equipment for their educational institutions. According to the results of the competition, the winners were the teams of 4 and 6 schools.
The tournament was organized by the Abinsky Electrometallurgical Plant with the support of the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Abinsky district and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the administration of the Abinsky district.
The main goal of the event is to popularize football among teenagers and attract the attention of young people to a healthy lifestyle.
12 teams took part in the competition: 6 in the age category "grades 6-8" and 6 in the age category "grades 9-11". The tournament turned out to be bright, interesting and exciting — no one was left without a reward. AESW provided all participants with memorable branded gifts.
