The annual increase in arable land for any agricultural enterprise is a direct increase in the volume of production. But it is also an increase in the involved harvesting and transport equipment. So for the company Agro Star from the Volgograd region, the systematic increase in arable land led to the realization that the company's accounting system could not cope with the increased flow of freight transport.
After monitoring the proposals from weight building companies, the optimal solution was chosen for the modernization of the existing weight control point, on which 40 tons 12 meter mechanical scales are installed.
Our company was chosen as a supplier, which has rich experience in the production of such works. To understand the possibility of carrying out such work, an engineer's visit was agreed to examine the state of the weighing room and the possibility of its modernization. According to the expert's conclusion, it was decided to extend the scales up to 18 meters and increase the maximum weighing limit up to 80 tons.
After signing the necessary documents, a construction and installation team was formed, it included specialists with rich experience in carrying out work in this area. Also, the supply department ordered the necessary equipment and materials. After completing the set, everything needed was delivered on time. A number of works were carried out to lengthen the foundation, dismantle the lever system, and cast new support pedestals.
Upon completion of the foundations, the installation of the load receiving platform and the installation of strain gauge equipment were carried out, followed by fine tuning of the scales. As a result of the work carried out, our customer received an 80 ton 18 meter electronic truck scale, which also successfully passed the initial state verification.
