From May 22 to May 26, a hot week of business activity was held, marked by international expositions: the exhibition of construction and technology STT Expo and the 23rd specialized exhibition "Equipment, Devices and Tools for the metalworking industry" Metalloobrabotka-2023.
In comparison with last year, the expositions, as well as the number of visitors to both events, have increased exponentially. The representativeness of domestic producers has also increased dramatically. All this suggests that today the Russian industry has moved away from focusing on bygone brands and embarked on its own path of active development.
Thus, more than 150 Russian companies that produce machinery and spare parts for construction and mining were represented at the STT Expo alone. Among them are new brands that are fully localized in Russia. Both in the past and in the current realities, they all need high-quality equipment and materials, but today they have to look for it all over again. And welding, as an integral element of production, is no exception.
Thus, at the STT Expo, the largest distributor of equipment for welding and cutting of the ESAB brand – the Acropolis company presented technological and simple solutions. At the partner's stand, among other things, there is an A2 Multitrack SAW welding tractor with a PEK control unit, a Fabricator ET410iP inverter, as well as a wide range of welding materials, including domestic production, for example, solid wire OK PRO 50.
Many participants of STT Expo are familiar with the manufacturer's solutions firsthand. Today, the company's technological solutions are widely used in enterprises from various industries.
At the same time, at the traditional exhibition Metalloobrabotka-2023, which gathers leading machine tool and metalworking companies on its site every year, modern solutions of the company were presented. Thus, at the Weldexpert stand, visitors could get acquainted with ESAB solutions in the field of robotic welding, in particular, the TransMig 500i source. The TrandMig family is an easy–to-use multifunctional GMAW digital welding machines with centralized control using an ARM chip that regulates the output welding voltage and current waveform at high speed, providing high arc stability, high adaptability, low spatter and a wide range of parameter settings.
