In the Production of steel structures (UCS) of JSC "Uralelectromed" (metallurgical complex of UMMC) has started the construction of foundations for power transformer substation and cable channels, through which will be connected line for production of welded grating.
Substation with a capacity of 1600 kVA will be in a separate room next to the UCS. It consists of two power transformers that convert AC to DC, switchgear and power cables. Its power is enough to ensure the smooth operation of the automated line.
As the chief of the UCS Andrew Myshlyaev on the characteristics of a uniform line is a mini-factory where it will be layout, welding, broaching and edit metal. The staff is enough to set on the feed table rods and strips of carbon steel, the rest of the machine will make same.
Automated line will consist of 15 basic elements. Among them, the welding unit, the feeder cross-bars, self-propelled module positioning and movement of the welded grid module grid cutting, stacking table with roller conveyor. The line capacity is high enough - will be about 300 tons per month. For example, during one shift, the feeder can handle up to 500 kg of rods. Of course, everything will depend on the programming of the working cycles in the automated system.
– plans to start production of a grating of 1.2 meters width and 6 meters length is the optimal size for galvanizing of products in a large tub, and also suitable when constructing steel structures, shop premises. For a start, will provide a product of the companies of the group, and then will offer services to third parties, said Maslaev.
