JSC "Sibkabel" (included in the "holding Cable Alliance", uniting cable assets UMMC) has passed the certification audit of energy management system on conformity to requirements of international standard ISO 50001. The effect of its introduction is to reduce energy costs, increase reliability of energy supply, reduction of pollutant emissions resulting from the consumption of energy.
Representatives of the certifying authority have studied the standards, policies, objectives of energy management and a working program for energy conservation. The audit took place in 8 divisions of the company - confirmed full compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001. The auditors noted the effectiveness of modernization of equipment and use of information systems in the field of management, systematic training of employees of the company.
"Our company annually reduces the share of energy costs in production costs. Planned for this year, a decrease of 5.5 % compared to the 2019 is more than 7 mln. of savings", - explained the head of Department of quality assurance Anastasia Leshchenko.
the energy management Standard ISO 50001 was developed by experts from 60 countries. Improving the power system includes three areas: energy efficiency, energy security, and energy consumption.
