The first place was won by the work of the head of the information technology department, Anton Shushpanov, to create an automated notification system for incidents in the field of labor protection, emergencies and equipment failures. The system has already been introduced into production and has proven its effectiveness. It provides specialists with up-to-date information on the condition of critical equipment, which allows them to make the right management decisions quickly, reduce downtime and increase the safety level of the plant as a whole. As a result of the conference, the portrait of Anton Shushpanov was entered on the factory Hall of Fame.
Innovations of the rolling shop workers - Nikolai Vasiliev and Kirill Pentegov - were awarded second place. Nikolai has developed a descaling unit at mill 450, which will eliminate defects on the metal surface caused by scale during rolling and improve the quality of rolled products. At the present time, the installation of a water breaker unit is underway. Kirill Pentegov's innovation makes it possible to increase the accuracy of rolled coil metal at mill 250.
The steelmaker's assistant Ruslan Akhmetgaleev took the third place, who analyzed the reasons for the wear of steel-pouring ladles and formulated recommendations for increasing their durability.
Project engineer-technologist Nikolay Zolotarev on the technology of thermocyclic treatment of tool steel grades to improve their technological and operational properties was awarded an incentive prize.
“The presented works solve urgent production problems. The quality and depth of work on the issues allow us to quickly introduce rationalization proposals of young specialists into production, ”commented Alexey Giss, chief engineer of Izhstal PJSC.
