The tool shop produces more than 3.5 thousand items of tools, accessories and spare parts for the production shops of the plant. Toolmakers make rolls for hot rolled and straightening machines, rollers for mating reinforcement, passes, wiring, hot and cold cutting knives. The production of the workshop allows you to reduce the cost of purchasing expensive tools on the side.
The plant has updated several lathes and horizontal boring machines, as well as vertical milling and copy-piercing machines: installed new domestic-made electric motors, replaced the electrical part and control systems. As a result, the machine tools have increased the accuracy and quality of processing, productivity, an opportunity to use advanced cutting tools operating at high cutting speeds, the range of processed products has expanded.
