Kolchugino (Vladimir region)
UGMK-Holding LLC allocated 30 million rubles for the reconstruction of the Palace of Culture in the city of Kolchugino (Vladimir region). The gift certificate to the head of the district administration Maxim Barashenkov was presented by the deputy technical director of UMMC Sergey Yakornov at a festive event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Elektrokabel plant.
"This is a gift to all our residents, because almost every family is connected with the Palace of Culture, our children are engaged there!" - noted Maxim Barashenkov.
Elektrokabel, which is part of the metallurgical holding, will control the work. They are expected to be completed in 2020.
The building of the House of Culture was built in 1902 by the design of the Viennese architect Lev Bauer. Initially, it was the People's House, built on the initiative of Vladimir Shtutser, manager of the Kolchugin Factories Association. There are 27 amateur groups represented in the Palace of Culture, of which 11 have the title of national or exemplary. Annually about 180 events are held there, more than 600 people are engaged in circles.
The plant-anniversary has also received a gift from UMMC. Sergey Yakornov presented a certificate for harvesting equipment to the director of EKZ JSC Vladimir Ivanov.
“Such a gift will come in handy,” noted Vladimir Ivanov. - The territory of our plant is very large - about 100 hectares. New harvesting equipment will keep it in perfect order. In addition, this technique with an irrigation function, which will be in great demand in hot dry weather. ”
The best employees of the enterprise were presented with awards from the UMMC, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the administration and the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir region, district and city.
