Ural logo entered the Russian Book of Records

PJSC "Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant" (an enterprise of the metallurgical complex of UMMC) has officially recorded a record in Russia. The company produced a unique in weight and size construction of copper wire in the form of the UMMC logo.

The record was set in the category "The only combined type logo in Russia made of copper wire". The creation of the object took 90 kilograms of metal, the total weight of the structure was 103.7 kg. The authors of the idea had to wind over 14 thousand meters of copper threads.

“The topic of the record was not chosen by chance: this year the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company celebrates its 20th anniversary,” explained CZP's HR and Administrative Director Konstantin Rosenberg. - Setting records is a good tradition of the plant. The enterprise is a leader in terms of production indicators, the introduction of new technologies, and in the social sphere. ”

This year the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant plans to produce 200 thousand tons of commercial zinc of the Special High Grade brand and alloys based on it, which will be a major achievement for the company. CZP actively applies modern technologies and equipment, which, in particular, allows achieving an important environmental indicator - 99.95% of sulfur dioxide utilization in the sulfuric acid shop. The plant annually takes leading positions in the competition "Enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of high social efficiency."
