Metalloinvest co-organized the conference Challenges 2030: Sustainability, Leadership, Initiatives
Metalloinvest, together with the Association of Managers and SAP, organized the conference “Challenges 2030: Sustainability, Leadership, Initiatives”. Business community professionals discussed partnership initiatives and breakthrough ideas in achieving sustainable development of the world.
The conference included three blocks: Leadership - about key trends and responses to the challenges of leading companies; Initiatives - about the practices of companies in specific areas, such as a cyclical economy, a responsible supply chain, corporate ethics, digital solutions; Sustainability is a design thinking session to develop partnership projects of the business community to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Deputy CEO for Sustainable Development and Corporate Communications of Metalloinvest Yulia Mazanova noted the importance of working together to achieve the SDGs: “We are convinced that partnership and the creation of common values for all stakeholders is the key to successful business development. We would like to thank the Association of Managers and Colleagues from SAP for supporting our initiative. We were able to gather real like-minded people on one site and conduct a constructive, meaningful dialogue, ”said Yulia Mazanova.
Metalloinvest supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted in 2015. The SDGs address the planet's most important environmental, economic and social issues.
The company is convinced that responsible business conduct and sustainable development activities make a significant contribution to the achievement of the SDGs. Metalloinvest recognizes the importance of all 17 Sustainable Development Goals, while making the greatest contribution within the framework of its activities to the achievement of such Goals as protecting health, increasing the availability of quality education, improving living standards, ensuring decent working conditions and economic growth, developing industry, infrastructure and introducing innovative technologies.
