KMA-Energosbyt specialists presented a project for the development and implementation of an information and analytical energy management system (IAS UER), which was successfully put into operation at Metalloinvest enterprises this year.
The Expert Council, which included representatives of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation, the Expert Council under the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology ROSSTANDART, highly appreciated the project, noted its significance and relevance.
“Metalloinvest pays special attention to programs to optimize the use of all types of energy resources. For each enterprise, a program of measures has been developed and is being implemented taking into account the specifics of production, - said Sergei Shcherbina, Director of the Department of Energy and Energy Resources of Metalloinvest. “The information and analytical system improves the visualization of processes, expands the range of our capabilities in the field of data analysis and making operational decisions." and analyzers of all types of energy resources. Information is processed every hour and collected over more than 9,000 data transmission channels. The system allows real-time tracking of the purchase, production, transmission, distribution and consumption of energy resources both in the whole enterprise and in the context of structural divisions. Based on a thorough analysis, such technical solutions make it possible to improve the system for planning energy consumption, identify distortions and losses in energy equipment, and reduce overall energy costs.
At Metalloinvest enterprises, IAS UER is being implemented in several stages. The integration of all accounting systems has already been carried out and the launch of a software product that processes all incoming data. Next, it is necessary to replace induction meters with modern metering devices, and then proceed to the stage of analysis and identify opportunities for improving energy efficiency.
