NLMK Group joins the UN international initiative for sustainable development
NLMK Group (LSE: NLMK; MOEX: NLMK), announces its accession to the United Nations Global Compact (UN Global Compact), an international UN initiative in the field of sustainable development and social responsibility of business.
By joining to the initiative, NLMK Group confirms that it will comply in its activities and strategy with the ten fundamental principles of the Global Compact in the field of human rights, labor relations, environmental protection and anti-corruption, as well as support and share the sustainable development goals. NLMK Group will annually disclose information on the achieved results in the field of sustainable development.
Founded in 2000, the UN Global Compact brings together more than 13,000 members from more than 160 countries, as well as more than 80 national networks.
