Sibkabel set a record for the production of winding wires
Sibkabel JSC (part of the Cable Alliance Holding, which unites the cable assets of UMMC) in August 2019 set a five-year record for the production of winding wires. Over the last month of summer, 475 tons of these products were produced. Earlier, since 2014, the record was 460 tons.
Winding wires are intended for the manufacture and repair of electric motors, electric starters and transformers. These products are used in equipment for electric locomotives and elevators, as well as for the manufacture and repair of transformers, generators, electric motors and electric starters.
“A new record for the production of winding wires is due to the growing demand for these products and the development of new sales markets ... Our products are of high quality, the most modern and high-class materials are used in their manufacture - imported varnishes and copper produced by UMMC. Therefore, it is in demand among leading manufacturers of electrical equipment and other machine-building companies, ”said Alexei Zhuzhin, director of Sibkabel JSC.
In August, most of the production structure was made up of winding wires with enamel insulation. JSC "Sibkabel" is the only enterprise beyond the Urals that produces these products. Their temperature regime of use reaches about 220 degrees. A special place in the line is occupied by thin and thinnest enamel wires (with a diameter of 0.063 to 0.2 mm), which are also used for assembling household appliances.
In total, since the beginning of the year, Tomsk cable workers have produced more than 3000 tons of winding wires, which is 13% more than in January-August last year.
