Project for the modernization of truck scales
The present times dictate to us the high dynamics of life and work. To maintain the current rhythm of the enterprise, it is necessary to optimize the work of each section. But what to do when the equipment is in working condition and can be used, but no longer meets the requirements. One of the options for solving this problem is to carry out a deep modernization of equipment, which will significantly reduce costs and get modern equipment that meets all needs.
Recently, our company completed a project to modernize old mechanical truck scales for an agricultural enterprise located in the Kursk region. The increase in the volume of harvested crops raised a question for the accounting system of the enterprise, in which the old 40 ton 12 meter scales were used.The high error and long process of weighing, as well as high maintenance costs have become aspen reasons for finding a manufacturer ready to upgrade them or install new scales in the old place. After analyzing existing manufacturers, preference was given to our company, as we have rich experience in modernizing old mechanical scales of any complexity. To assess the amount of necessary work, an engineer of the modernization service was sent to the customer's enterprise, according to his conclusion, a commercial offer was drawn up, the end result of which is the receipt by the customer of new 80 tons 18 meter truck scales. By the set date, a construction and installation team arrived at the customer's enterprise to perform the necessary work.
Work has been carried out on:
dismantling of the top deck
dismantling of the lever system
strengthening the existing foundation
foundation extension
casting of new bollards
laying signal cables
installation of strain gauge equipment
platform assembly
fine-tuning the scales
Upon completion of all work, these truck scales were handed over to the representatives of the CSM for the initial state verification. Successful completion of verification confirmed compliance with all declared metrological characteristics.
